Position Overview

The Aftermarket Sales Representative is responsible for developing and growing aftermarket revenue by providing exceptional customer service to Pacific Press and Multipress customers throughout the lifecycle of their equipment.

This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding replacement parts. The Aftermarket Sales Representative builds long-term customer relationships.

Success in this role requires a customer-first mindset, strong communication and computer skills, mechanical aptitude, organization, and the ability to proactively manage customer accounts. The position works closely with Sales, Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to deliver outstanding customer experience.

The Aftermarket Sales Representative is expected to proactively grow aftermarket sales through regular customer contact, account management, follow-up activities, and strategic business development initiatives.

This position reports to the Aftermarket Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

A.) Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop trusted relationships with existing Pacific Press and Multipress customers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for aftermarket products and services.
  • Conduct proactive outbound and inbound customer calls and emails.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience on every interaction.

B.) Sales & Business Development

Generate sales opportunities for:

  • Replacement Parts
  • Spare Parts Packages
  • Machine Manuals

C.) Additional responsibilities include:

  • Follow up on every quotation until closed.
  • Increase quote-to-order conversion rates.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Develop annual aftermarket growth.
  • Generate leads for new machine opportunities and transition them to the Sales Department.
  • Support company initiatives to increase recurring service revenue.

D.) CRM & Sales Process

  • Maintain accurate customer information within HubSpot/Salesforce CRM.
  • Document customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
  • Track open quotes and sales pipeline.
  • Utilize CRM workflows to ensure timely customer follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting information.

E.) Cross Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the departments below to ensure customers receive timely and accurate information regarding the deliverables and actionable items listed below.

Qualifications

A.) Experience

  • Experience with CRM software such as HubSpot or Salesforce is preferred.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in sales meetings and training.
  • Maintain product knowledge across all Pacific Press and Multipress product lines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Aftermarket Manager, Sales Manager and President.

Compensation

  • Full Time – On Site
  • Salary Rate: $52,000 – $60,500 based on candidate experience, plus monthly commission
