Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative
Job Description:
A. GENERAL SCOPE
The Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative reports directly to the Aftermarket Sales Manager. The Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisitions and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making and receiving dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
The Aftermarket Inside Sales Representatives has a critical role in the success of the company. The focus of this role is to increase revenue from parts sales and upselling services, increasing quoting activity for PEP/New machine sales, ensuring excellent customer service, understanding the customer’s needs, act as a liaison between customers and the company, gain customer intelligence and report through Salesforce and monthly meetings.
The Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative must have excellent communication skills since you work directly with customers throughout the sales process. You also need to be very organized since they will handle several accounts simultaneously. You must be decisive and ability to make decisions on your own.
The Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative will work alongside fellow colleagues in Sales, Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments to satisfy our customers’ needs.
The Aftermarket Inside Sales Representative monitors daily the Aftermarket metrics, KPI’s, milestones and reacts as needed to those results to ensure success of the Aftermarket Inside Sales Department. You will work with the Aftermarket Inside Sales Manager in formulating strategy and continually improving performance of the Aftermarket Inside Sales Department. You must find ways to increase revenue growth of the Aftermarket Inside Sales Department.
B. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing an understanding of Pacific and Multipress product line and all services offered.
- Using CRM (Salesforce) process to monitor all outstanding quotes.
- Working with Aftermarket Inside Sales Manager to develop a follow up structure to ensure all opportunities are being captured
- Calling customers to follow up on new aftermarket calls/emails and every open, aftermarket opportunity
- Understand customer needs and requirements
- Outbound cold calls and emails
- Upsell parts, spare parts, PM's, service
- Reporting empirical findings to Service, Parts and Sales Departments
- Business environment, capital projects, wish lists, etc.
- Inform customers of all Pacific and Multipress offerings
- Communicate with customers on backorders
- Provide delivery information to customers
- Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
- Communicate with Sales Department all leads for PEP/new machines
- Achieve monthly KPI's
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
- Contouring pricing mechanisms to increase sales activity
C. REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with Salesforce and M2M preferred but not required
- Prior press brake or industrial machinery sales experience preferred but not required
- Desire to deliver what's best for our customers
- Satisfactory computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Salesforce
- Critical thinking capacity with ability to make decisions on your own
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to deliver accurate and timely work under pressure
- Strong phone presence and experience handling dozens of calls per day
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
D. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
- Miscellaneous duties and assignments as requested by the Aftermarket Inside Sales Manager and the Company President.
- Expected to work the necessary hours, including overtime, to complete the required responsibilities and functions of this position.

Mechanical Engineer
Job Description:
A. GENERAL SCOPE
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for all aspects of the equipment design process that relate to the mechanical/hydraulic components, and the systems in which they apply. They are to be well versed in the safety and industry standards as they apply to their function. Other responsibilities include support of aftermarket sales, inside sales, service department and ongoing daily manufacturing. Some travel may be required. This position reports to the Engineering Manager.
The position will be best suited for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for growing business and continuous improvement, with a high level of intellectual curiosity.
B. FUNCTIONS
New Sales
- Assist sales during initial quoting stages to aid in specifying equipment details.
- Design new equipment, support structure, and/or auxiliary equipment to meet customer requirements.
- Calculate stress and deflection of components using FEA to achieve desired specifications.
- Create detail drawings using GD&T.
- Support purchasing by communicating details of components with suppliers as needed.
- Create and release engineering BOM’s for new jobs in ERP system.
After Sales
- Support service department in troubleshooting field equipment.
- Support the aftermarket parts department with replacement parts sourcing and viable alternatives to obsolete or unavailable components.
- Make recommendations as to the necessity of rebuild or repair of existing equipment.
Other
- Investigate cost savings and technical improvement options.
- Assist in creation of operation manuals for equipment.
- Support the manufacturing department in daily operations.
C. REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS Degree in mechanical engineering and/or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in creating schematics and assembly/part drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Able to read and understand technical documentation, ie. schematics, spec sheets, manuals, etc.
- General knowledge of electrical controls and their associated function for equipment.
Other Attributes Preferred:
- 5 years of experience.
- Hydraulic systems experience preferred.
- Experience with Made2Manage.
- Ability to define and validate design parameters and execute tolerance analyses.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, technical, and communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Self-starting with ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
- Industrial Machinery Design Experience.
- Experience in a smaller company culture and enjoyment of being involved in all aspects of a business.
D. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS
- Miscellaneous duties and assignments as requested by the Engineering Manager.
- Less than 10% Travel requirements.

Service Technician
Job Description:
Job Summary
Immediate openings for highly motivated Service Technicians with a desire to work in fast paced, quality centered environments. Position requires 75% travel to service customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
- Service all equipment to operate at its highest efficiency
- Install new machinery
- Maintain safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
- Electronically log and maintain records of all details pertaining to Service Department
- Consistently communicate with members of the Service Department to ensure all members of the team are kept up to date on service issues
- Educate customer operators and maintenance staff on proper maintenance techniques and procedures
- Conduct operator training on operation of machinery
- Gather intel from customers to strengthen customer and Pacific business relationship
- Develop successful and beneficial relationships with vendors
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
- Electronically log and maintain records and details of in-field service work
- Occasionally complete assigned tasks to aid in the manufacture of Pacific equipment
- Provide technical phone support to customers as needed and directed by the Service Manager
- Develop understanding of all Pacific PLC and HMI equipment and lead internal and customer training
- Develop customer training and installation documents as directed by the service manager
Minimum Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- High mechanical aptitude with demonstrated troubleshooting and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient use of personal computers including Windows and Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
- May be required to work in variable temperatures (both indoor and outdoor scenarios)
- May be required to work in tight or elevated spaces
- May be required to stoop, kneel, bend, or climb
- Must be able to obtain passport for foreign travel
