Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Description:

General Scope

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven individual to join our team. The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for supporting office tasks, administration duties, and activities related to both the AP and AR functions for Pacific Press Holdings, LLC. The position will assist in daily, weekly, and monthly activities. The AP / AR Specialist is also expected to support the Controller and President in information requests and in assisting in streamlining processes. The position will provide support for monthly closing activities and must have the ability to meet tight deadlines.

The core competencies required to be successful in this role include data entry, strong attention to detail and process, and familiarity with the purchase order and cash collection processes in a financial reporting system. In addition, this person needs to be proactive, able to multi-task, and have strong time management skills to navigate day-to-day priorities as needed.

This position reports to the Controller.


  • Efficiently handle and direct incoming calls, ensuring a warm and professional reception for all inquiries.
  • Welcome visitors, assist with their inquiries, and ensure they connect with the appropriate team member.
  • Ensures a spirit of excellence, teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Motivated, takes responsibility, and resolves problems as they arise.
  • Identify and propose continuous improvements opportunities.
  • Responsible for posting activities of all Customer payments.
  • Provide payable entry and posting for all product receipts.
  • Records revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges, and refunds, and preparing and mailing invoices, post to customer portals and/or email.
  • Appropriately manages AR and AP aging reports, following up with customers/vendors as necessary.
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
  • Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
  • Run all credit cards for orders/shipments.
  • Collects all necessary information for new customers and provides it to the Controller to approve credit, credit limits and set-up new accounts.
  • Set-up vendor accounts
  • Print checks for weekly A/P payments.

Other Functions and Responsibilities

  • Administrator of Company Credit Card program.
  • Manage Petty Cash.
  • Assist with receiving and issuance of PO’s.
  • Daily reporting of Cash and Shipping reports as needed.
  • Mail Distribution.
  • Other duties and assignments as requested by the Controller and/or President
  • Expected to work the necessary hours, including overtime to complete the required responsibilities and functions of this position and department.


  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Degree in accounting a plus but not required.
  • Computer proficient.
  • Experience with Made2Manage or other ERP systems.
  • High degree of accuracy.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Results-driven and ability to communicate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with MS Office.

Service Technician

Job Description:

Job Summary

Immediate openings for highly motivated Service Technicians with a desire to work in fast paced, quality centered environments. Position requires 75% travel to service customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service all equipment to operate at its highest efficiency
  • Install new machinery
  • Maintain safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
  • Electronically log and maintain records of all details pertaining to Service Department
  • Consistently communicate with members of the Service Department to ensure all members of the team are kept up to date on service issues
  • Educate customer operators and maintenance staff on proper maintenance techniques and procedures
  • Conduct operator training on operation of machinery
  • Gather intel from customers to strengthen customer and Pacific business relationship
  • Develop successful and beneficial relationships with vendors

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
  • Electronically log and maintain records and details of in-field service work
  • Occasionally complete assigned tasks to aid in the manufacture of Pacific equipment
  • Provide technical phone support to customers as needed and directed by the Service Manager
  • Develop understanding of all Pacific PLC and HMI equipment and lead internal and customer training
  • Develop customer training and installation documents as directed by the service manager

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • High mechanical aptitude with demonstrated troubleshooting and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient use of personal computers including Windows and Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • May be required to work in variable temperatures (both indoor and outdoor scenarios)
  • May be required to work in tight or elevated spaces
  • May be required to stoop, kneel, bend, or climb
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to obtain passport for foreign travel
