OBL Series Straight Side Presses are the industry standard in dual-cylinder down-acting metal forming equipment designs, allowing multiple applications on a single press.

STANDARD FEATURES

Large Double-Acting Cylinders with large area under the piston provide support to cushion breakthrough shock of heavy material punching operations, resulting in improved punch quality and greater die service life.
Generous Window Openings provide easy access to the die area and accommodate continuous coil-feeding.
Six Point Square-Type Gibbing assures maximum bearing contact with long non-metallic gib surfaces. Tight gib clearance and accurate slide alignment helps extend overall tool life and performance. In addition, off-center loading challenges are met through precise slide parallelism and active hydraulic leveling.
Modular “Stack” Cartridge Valve Design provides safe and reliable press slide control, delivers quick response, minimizes heat build-up, and reduces piping, fitting and maintenance requirements.
Power Units provide three advance speeds, including rapid-advance, fast press, and normal press, plus two return speeds.
Pendant Mounted, PLC Interface Control reduces set-up time and increases flexible operations for multiple applications. Tonnage can be programmed directly through the control system. PLC interface controls include the Allen Bradley HMI Series.
