Hydraulic Presses from Pacific Press Technologies

Gap (C) Frame
Hydraulic Presses

The Gap Frame hydraulic press design (sometimes called C-Frame hydraulic presses) allows three-sided accessibility to the work area. Suitable for both short-run and high production applications these “all purpose” workhorses deliver unmatched productivity and life expectancy. Pacific’s single cylinder down-acting (self-guided) models are available in six to eight point gibbed configurations. The one-piece welded and machined frames guarantee superior rigidity. Either manual or CNC controlled, they are available with high speed hydraulic packages.

Straight Side
Hydraulic Presses

Pacific’s Straight Side Hydraulic Presses employ either a single or double cylinder six-point, non-metallic adjustable gibbing, with flange mounted piston and slide connections. All hydraulic presses are heavy plate steel and/or column construction, have large bed areas and generous open heights, and provide full tonnage throughout the stroke (up to 2000 tons), providing multiple job versatility and precision tool alignment.

Composite Molding
Hydraulic Presses

All Pacific Hydraulic Compression Presses feature advanced high speed PLC and multi-function software to provide users with real time controls, alarms and data logging. Servo hydraulic systems incorporate aerospace and robotic technologies to give fast and precise control over ram movement and force on pressure sensitive composite materials. Pacific hydraulic compression presses also include three types specifically for composites– lamination, resin transfer, and resin injection.

Special Applications
Hydraulic Presses

Pacific’s Special Applications Hydraulic Presses feature 4-post design, with the slide guided by bearings around the four corner posts for stability. Large bearings in the slide ram ensure smooth operation and accurate alignment. Available in single or double cylinder designs. The bed and crown are assembled to the posts pre-stressed with large nuts to improve press rigidity. Generous bed/bolster sizes and open heights are standard on these rugged, but precise, state-of-the-art hydraulic presses.
