Bulldozer Press Description
Pacific’s Straight Side Hydraulic Presses employ either a single or double cylinder six-point, non-metallic adjustable gibbing, with flange mounted piston and slide connections. All hydraulic presses are heavy plate steel and/or column construction, have large bed areas and generous open heights, and provide full tonnage throughout the stroke (up to 2000 tons), providing multiple job versatility and precision tool alignment.

Hydraulic Bulldozer Presses
Its low silhouette design paves the way for larger bending applications
The tool for bending long and/or heavy structural shapes Specific applications demand specialized machine tools…especially true in the world of long part and/or heavy plate fabrication work. Pacific's Hydraulic Bulldozer design has been a heavy industry mainstay…in product design…in heavy tonnage performance…in overall productivity. But what else would you expect from North America's hydraulic bending technology leader for more than fifty years? A low-silhouette design makes it easy to move and position large parts over the press. Long, full power throughout the stroke can be adjusted to meet your application's tonnage and pressing speeds. Choose from 100-500 ton standard models (seven different standard sizes). In addition to the Bulldozer, check out our Ramdozer.
Hydraulic Bulldozer Press Standard Features:
Consider these key machine features/user benefits…
- Rugged Construction: Rolled plate construction is rigid and trouble-free. Heavy cast iron gibbing and hardened steel slideways assure rigidity and proper alignment. End lug is designed with a heavy metal interlock to absorb and better distribute loads throughout the frame. Die is easily mountable to the end lug because T-slots are machined longitudinally in the cross head.
- State-Of-The-Art Hydraulic System: Precision, high-speed performance and dependability all start with Pacific-built heavy-duty stacked valve system. Built-in hydraulic overload protection protects against overload and jamming. Single piece cast cylinders and cast piston/rod assembly eliminate high stresses, oil leakage and delivers trouble-free operation.
- Superior Controllability: Gain increased levels of production, versatility and safety. Enjoy full-rated tonnage throughout the long stroke. Mode selector switch for ram inching control, two speed approach (rapid advance and normal press) or single speed approach (normal press) makes set up fast and easy. Fully-adjustable depth stop/back travel stop provides for instant change of ram open/closed dimensions. End lug operates from three different positions. Moveable foot switch enables "at-the-work eye-sighting" for straightening or bending operations.
- Laser Bend Alignment: Two laser line generators — one at each end of the tandem system - project a visible line at the centerline of the installed tooling. A blank with the bend lines marked is moved into the press brake until the mark and the visible laser line are aligned and the press brake is cycled to accurately complete the bend. An optional center mount (removable) laser line generator is available when a single press brake of the tandem system is to be used.
