All in an Affordable Package
Bringing Numerical Control to Your Medium to
Heavy-Gauge Bending Application
Evolving from our industry-standard K-Series design, our Fabri-K press brakes brings you advanced technologies you can put to work on your production floor every day. Fabri-K offers the same great rugged design and overall reliability as the K-Series, but with added features to increase productivity, reduced set up time and improved dimensional part quality. And with a strong ROI and lower initial purchase price than you might think.
The Fabri-K Series Straight Side Hydraulic Press Brake is offered in either a user-friendly DNC control (standard) or optional 2D or 3D Cybelec control (optional)…including the newest Modeva 3D control (3D color graphics, easy programming of complex parts, network ready, large storage capabilities, complete "before and after" bending simulation ).
Multi-axis backgauging, dual precision linear scales (+/-.001" ram repeatability) and automatic deflection compensation additionally help to drive production to unheard of levels. Choose from 175 to 2000 ton standard models, 8-30' standard bed lengths (see specification chart). Tandem designs (two or more brakes operating in synchronization) deliver long part bending accuracy and productivity.

Standard Features:
Consider these key machine features/user benefits…
- Superior Controllability: Gain increased levels of production, versatility and safety. Choose from standard DNC (standard), 2D CNC (optional) or state-of-the-art Cybelec Modeva 3D CNC (optional). Pacific's multi-axis backguage
is the strongest in industry, delivering precise positioning of up to six axes (positioning accuracy to +/-.002" and repeatability within +/-.001"). Control these axes…
- X-positioning of backgauge bar
- X1 and X2-for bi directional backgauge tapering
- R-provides vertical adjustments of the backgauge bar
- Z1 and Z2-left and right positioning of backgauge fingers - Rugged Construction: The most rugged in the marketplace-our interlocked design helps to minimize frame deflection. Pre-crowned bed design helps to eliminate the need for die shimming, delivering the needed deflection compensation (helping to both reduce overall set up time and improve part quality-automatic deflection compensation feature available optionally). Precise ram guiding is ensured via true centerline loading.
- State-Of-The-Art Hydraulic System: Unlike mechanical press brakes, full rated tonnage and generous open heights deliver power throughout a long stroke. Precision, high-speed performance and dependability all start with Pacific-built stacked valve system. Single piece cast cylinders eliminate high stresses, oil leakage. Hydraulic power units include the features of automatic decompression, precision leveling accuracy, tonnage control/overload protection and redundant valving.
Three advance speed power units available as standard on 175 through 400 ton models, four advance speed power units are standard on 500 ton and larger models/optionally available on smaller models. Four advance speeds include…
- Rapid Advance: rapid closing daylight, no tonnage available;
- Fast Press: higher speed forming, only partial tonnage available;
- Normal Press: working speed, full tonnage available; and Anti-Whip:
slow working speed, full tonnage available; automatically activated during the last 1/8" of the stroke
Note: Two of the four speeds can be used during the down stroke
Optional Features:
- CNC Controls - (off-line programming and storage; simple, menu-driven control of two ram axes and five backgauge axes; 2D or 3D color graphics; large disk memory; built in diagnostics and networking capabilities. Modeva & Cybelic brands available)
- Plate cell - Adding an optional laser bend alignment system, plate supports and hydraulically powered plate positioning system makes the K series press brake a productive plate forming cell without the requirements for the operators to manipulate the plate by hand.
- Higher Speed Power Units (three speed power unit standard on 500 tons and higher, available as an option on smaller tonnage K-Series brakes; choose from Rapid Advance (no tonnage), Fast Press (partial tonnage), and Normal Press (full tonnage) cycles)
- Medium; Heavy-Duty Powered Backgauges (manual and CNC-controlled models-CNC version drives X1, R and Z1&Z2 Axes)
- Part Extractor - Hydraulically powered, chain driven extractor system moves along the lower tooling to remove a formed part that either cannot be removed from the front of the press brake or is more easily removed by sliding it out of one end of the tandem system.
- Plate Manipulators - Hydraulically powered, chain driven plate manipulators installed in front and behind the press brake bed provide "hands-off" sheet manipulation. Joystick controls incorporated into two hand controls provide the ability to maneuver the sheet to the desired bend location.
- Laser Bend Alignment - Two laser line generators — one at each end of the tandem system - project a visible line at the centerline of the installed tooling. A blank with the bend lines marked is moved into the press brake until the mark and the visible laser line are aligned and the press brake is cycled to accurately complete the bend. An optional center mount (removable) laser line generator is available when a single press brake of the tandem system is to be used.
- Other optional features include - Lengths up to 45' in a single press brake, Back Travel Over-Ride, Foot switch, Deeper Throats; Increased Open Heights and Longer Strokes; Wider Platens and Angle Brackets; Heavy Duty Ram Inserts; Horns; Multiple Depth-Stops; Oil Coolers and Heaters; Multiple Control Stations; Light Curtains; and Automated Centralized Lubrication Systems.

Consult factory if your application requires machine dimensions,
speeds or flush floor installation not shown in the table above.Notes:
(1) Machine length (L) to be specified by customer
(2) Distance between housing without horns is machine length (L) minus the dimensions shown (Example: K400-14 foot bend length. The between housings dimension is L=14 ft minus 19½" =12' 4½")
(3) A slot in the floor is required to clear the bed plate on small machines over 12' length and all large machines
(4) Models 500 ton and larger require below grade side housing support.
