This estimate calculates a preliminary value to be used for initial machine sizing. The die maker can provide a more accurate estimate of tonnage required.
The calculators below provide "rough estimates" of draw form. Most parts are neither simple circular nor rectangular parts. There are a number of more detailed methods of determining draw force for more complicated parts.
